My Disco Belle had been coming up and then all of a sudden it died- now I know why!

My robins especially like to follow me around when I am watering because the water brings the worms to the surface. They are smart!Sylvanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13186604429680496847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13309574.post-1121646675535930992005-07-17T19:31:00.000-05:002005-07-17T19:31:00.000-05:00Watch for sprouts late (very late) in the spring, ...Watch for sprouts late (very late) in the spring, and then watch for cutworm... I lost a pair of plants before I figured out why the new growth kept 'dying' and falling over. When I combed my fingers through the mulch, there were the nasty catepillars. I threw them in the street for robin food. My robins love patroling my yard. The hibiscus' themselves are beautiful when the bloom, but the placement is just so bizarre.OldRoseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10307114475443602351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13309574.post-1119040417981128142005-06-17T15:33:00.000-05:002005-06-17T15:33:00.000-05:00I've got some hardy hibiscus seedlings going. Now I just have to wait a million years for my seedlings to grow into a flowering bush.Kasmirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01866928448186848884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13309574.post-1119032066382066702005-06-17T13:14:00.000-05:002005-06-17T13:14:00.000-05:00My parents do that with them too. So far I have kept them alive for 3 years. I just noticed buds, so am awaiting the big, luscious blooms.Diana LaMarrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.com
