Nicole, welcome to my blog! The only drawbacks were not being able to see the work in context of the entire garden and the MOSQUITOES!! [two words - bug buckets.] Otherwise, I give this technique the seal of approval.
I had to laugh when I saw this pic. There has been many an evening when I've stuck my head out the back door and eyed the garden thinking "it'll only take a minute..."
Nice to know the madness runs in the gardening genes!
Connie, but then you have the mosquitoes. You might be able to see all the mosquito candle pails I have around me.
LostRoses, you'd have to hold a candle to see my endeavors! (sorry, I'm in a punny mood)
Primrozie, I walk the walk!
GrowGirls, hey! Welcome to my blog! Just protectin' my rep! In this photo I am building a mini limestone cliff face. Yes, I'm not even planting anything.

Haha I have been tempted this past month to garden by "lamplight" chiefly because i was unable to do so during the daytime with the heat!

Sylvana,
Just wanted to drop a note and let you know I wrote about your midnight madness over on my blog at Garden Ideas

Emma, welcome to my blog! Thanks for the shout out. I know every gardener has either gardened at night or WANTED TO!!
Okay now, that takes the cake!
I am tempted to do this to avoid the hundred of yellow jackets swarming in my garden during the sunlight hours!
I've been known to hurry and finish up the lawn mowing practically in the dark, but I don't think that holds a candle to your endeavors!
You sure are!!! :0
lol omg! hillarious! i thought i was bad! you ARE the obsessive gardener! good for you! x
Becky, too much cake will do that to a person.
