Hi Sylvana, I came by wondering if you had tulips blooming yet ... guess this answers my question! I've forgotten about those WI winters that linger well into May, so you have my sympathies!
Our Darwins are budding out now and the species tulips just starting blooming ... along with the hyacinths and daffodils ... and we thought winter was too long in leaving our garden!
These pictures were actually taken April 1 - nice April Fool's joke on us, huh? My spring flowers didn't mind, though.
I do have some things blooming right now: squill, crocus, daffodils, a few hyacinths, bloodroot, hepatica, chionodoxa and even a few tulips (Apricot Beauty).
