Nice gardenizens. I saw one of those red and blue bugs in my garden this year and thought it was interesting. Later, I was looking up a problem on my squash plants and found it was a disease spread by leafhoppers. I looked up a picture and found that's what the cute little bug was.
Love the caterpillar. I think I've seen butterfly he becomes, but none of the caterpillars. :)

evolutionofagardener, but the leafhopper is just so darn cute! I am trying to figure out why he's colored and patterned that way.
