I GOT A GNOME!!!
February 15th was SSB and my anniversary. We have been together 16 years. The flowers behind the gnome were from SSB. He has very good taste.The gnome and the garden statuary in front of him I got at Target, of all places. I'm so excited! I always wanted a gnome!

Do you mind if I ask where you got the mushrooms? I saw some at Target last year that I really wanted but they were under the S&H brand so they were way overpriced all year.
The day they went on clearance they were all snatched up so I guess I wasn't the only one waiting for a price reduction. :0)
Mr Brown Thumb, Welcome to my blog! I got everything at Target. I think the two mushrooms cost me less $12 together and the snail was ~$12. The gnome was $20 but is cast iron and the best looking gnome that I have found in stores so far - they usually look like one of the seven dwarves! They had four different gnomes, but I chose the one with the mushroom because I love them. I always get mushroom statuary when I can find it.
Sylvana, I'm so excited for you. I know how much you've wanted a gnome. Now comes the fun part: figuring out where to put him. I had to move mine around a few times before I found the perfect spot for him.
OldRoses, now I can quit telling you all how much you suck for having gnomes while I do not, because I HAVE A GNOME!!!
Finally found it....My wife picked up the same gnome at Target,but she put it back on the shelf...When I went back to get it for her they were soldout....I live in Rockland Ctny NY no Target in my area havethem, does your Target have them still if so can you please just send me the Target local so I can call them
Please help, I too wanted to surprise my wife with this gift.. she felt so bad.

This particular gnome I got a few years ago, but Target has had them every year since I got this one. I got two more this year (one with a bag and one with a shovel) and got the last one that my local Target had. Is it for a special occasion?
